NCCA is committed to and achieving best practice governance with appropriate targets for Board diversity (30% female, appropriately representative ethnicity).
NCCA has one Board Director with specific responsibility for EDI and all Board Directors have received the latest online training.
NCCA have structures in place to ensure its competitions are fair, safe and inclusive places to work, watch and play.
NCCA collects diversity data annually about its players from member Counties, using the insight gained to inform thinking and actions about its competitions.
NCCA will report this data to ECB, the Board, member Counties and commercial partners.
NCCA encourages all its member Counties to ensure players, volunteers and coaches understand and champion diversity and inclusion in the game.
NCCA will conduct an open appointment process for all paid and unpaid roles within the Association and will use balanced and diverse panels to assess interviewees.
NCCA will review its EDI policy, annually, to ensure it is relevant, progressive and supports the Association’s culture and inclusivity objectives.
