Martin Darlow DL was elected NCCA Chair in March 2026. Martin is a retired senior police officer. He retired as a detective in 2012 after 32 years specialising in major crime investigations. Post retirement he was appointed Chief Executive of Cricket East before election in 2016 as a Director on the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
Martin then became ECB Deputy and Interim Chair and ICC representative. He has been a Trustee of Chance to Shine, Capital Kids Cricket and a Lords Taverners Director. Martin is Chair of Southill Park Cricket Club and was appointed as a Deputy Lieutenant in 2024.
