Devon’s National Counties T20 double-header against Herefordshire which was due to be played at Sandford tomorrow (Sunday) has been cancelled.
The recent continued wet weather has left the Creedy Park ground waterlogged and with no prospect of an improvement in conditions the decision has been taken to cancel both of the Group Two matches.
Each side will be awarded two points with Devon suffering their fifth washout in six matches in a frustrating and soggy start to their season.
Herefordshire will hope for better luck with the weather on Monday when they face Cornwall at Werrington in another double-header.
Devon host Cornwall at Cornwood in their final group matches on Sunday May 7.
