  • NCCA is committed to best practice governance with appropriate targets for Board diversity (30% female, appropriately representative ethnicity) by February 2023

  • NCCA will task one Board Director with specific responsibility for EDI and all Board Directors will receive the latest online training

  • NCCA will put structures in place to ensure its competitions are a fair, safe and inclusive play to work, watch and play

  • NCCA will collect diversity data about its players from member Counties, using the insight gained to inform thinking and actions about its competitions

  • NCCA will report this data to ECB, the Board, member Counties and commercial partners

  • NCCA will encourage all its member Counties to ensure players, volunteers and coaches understand and champion diversity and inclusion in the game

  • NCCA will conduct an open appointment process for all paid and unpaid roles within the Association and will use balanced and diverse panels to assess interviewees

  • NCCA will review its EDI policy, annually, to ensure it is relevant, progressive and supports the Association’s culture and inclusivity objectives.
