The Brand New NCCA Podcast Is On It's Way!

Cricket will be back! In order to make sure that you know everything you need to about NCCA cricket when it returns – we’ve launched a new podcast.

At the end of 2020, many of us were happy to say a huge goodbye to the year that saw no competitive cricket played for the NCCA. What should’ve been an exciting year with an over-haul of minor counties cricket, and we’re not just talking about the name change and re-brand, but the promise of a new format, greater opportunities for younger players and an exciting time for spectators. Instead, the year ended up being one of frustration with delay after delay, and one contingency plan after another.

Christmas was a welcome break and it felt like we were going to sprint into 2021, a new year, when we could start getting back to normal. A mountain of turkey and a gallon of mulled wine later, we all seemingly limped into 2021 with many of the same frustrations hanging over our heads.

However, we are positive and what we do know is that at some stage in the future we will be playing cricket again.

The cricket community is strong and there is always lots to talk about, and the NCCA is no different. So, to keep us all connected and give our players and supporters an opportunity to gain a greater insight into the National Counties world, we are launching the brand new NCCA Podcast.

There will be game previews and reviews, special guests, all the latest news, competitions and of course general cricket banter!

The podcast will be available to listen to from Friday 5th February. Look out for the link on our website.
