We are proud to announce that 6 former National County Cricket (NCCA) players are included in England’s 17-man squad for the Royal London Series against Ireland.
James Vince and Liam Dawson (both Wiltshire) and David Willey (Bedfordshire) are included in the main 14-man squad. With all three of the reserves, Richard Gleeson (Cumberland), Lewis Gregory (Devon) and Liam Livingstone (Cumberland) having spent time honing their skills with their local NCCA side.
Having profiled all of the players in the recent Test series against the West Indies, we will once again introduce you to these highly talented cricketers, and highlight the key role that NCCA opportunities played for each of them.
Good luck to all of the England Squad for the series.
